Track repair interruptus
After having a week of rain; the river decided to flow over its banks. The crane is, or was, working on repairing/rebuilding the railroad bridge. Good thing the rain stopped for awhile or I would hate to see how deep the crane would be in the water. The second picture is of a campground near the river. There is not supposed to be a pond there. It has been nice for two days, but I think more rain is forecast. My granddaughter is supposed to mow the lawn tomorrow since she was unable to mow it last week.
Well, the month of May held two graduations for me to attend: The oldest grandson graduated from high school and the youngest grandson graduated from pre-school. The high school graduate's parents are having a hard time seeing their child leave home for college. They still have one at home to spoil.
I sure didn't graduation from Kindergarten, [probably because I didn't attend Kindergarten (long story)], and I barely remember graduation from 8th grade. High school and college I remember.
I gave the oldest a star quilt and the youngest a straw cowboy hat so he could be the same as his dad when they do yard work.
