Good times and decision time.
Thanksgiving was successful. My youngest son and his family came early and helped cook. I had the bird in the oven in plenty of time. Guests included Tina's grandmother and a couple who are Jay and Tina's friends. We ate so much and it was so good. And there were so many leftovers. I finally got tired of eating turkey.
My sons laid the tile in the basement bathroom this last Saturday. Tonight they are coming to put on the grout. I called the plumber and he said he would try to get to my house sometime this week to finish his part of this project. Then I just have to wait for my sons to lay the carpet. We are not stretching it as it was given to me and is used. At least it will keep our feet warm and help make it look nice. I was hoping to have bathroom complete by Wednesday... may be having company from California... or not.
I will post a picture of bathroom when complete! I did good on picking out colors.. not bragging, just surprised.
The time has come to seriously think about putting the dog to sleep. How does one know how much pain they are dealing with? She has three visible lumps of considerable size, she has lost most of the muscle in her upper hind legs, and she is losing control of her urine. I spend a lot of time washing her bed, blankets, and carpet. She still seems happy even though her eyes are cloudy and I think her hearing is going. This is a hard decision to make. Advise?????
