Winter Blues
Snow has fallen everyday for a week now. Not all the time, but we do have quite a ground cover and I gave up on trying to shovel my driveway. For the first few days, I had my side workable; but it drifted and I quit. Snow is heavy.
Something broke on the street out front of work. Water is coursing down the South side of the street. The mailman said the basement of the bank up the block is flooded and there are several trucks and workman outside. I have watched for $$, but none has floated by. The street is really going to be icy. The temperature yesterday and today is in the single digits. Brrrrrrrrr. [Oh, Sis, it is your bank!]
I ventured out into the frigid air last night to attend my second watercolor class. For four hours I struggled with watercolors. Some of the results weren't too bad: sky and rocks looked okay. After the instructor has recovered from knee surgery [scheduled today] we will resume. I think I will attempt something at home. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
