Time for Change
Here it is the end of July already. I am not very good at keeping up with this blog. I never have anything real thought provoking to say; just newsy stuff. My sister got the writing gene from my dad and grandmother. I just got the swelling feet of old age from my mom. Bummer.
The day it was 104 degrees outside, I decided to change the living room furniture. [Well, it was too hot to do anything outside and I was cleaning house anyway.] I also rearranged three drawers while I was at it. So here are some pictures of the new living room arrangement. It took me two days to get used to it.
I bought two 'bug' bulbs and put one in the fixture on the front porch and one in the fixture on the basement patio. They do help. I am not attacked by 'millions' of bugs now when I go out at night.
I had to throw away two pots of pansies this weekend. Even though I faithfully watered them everyday, the heat killed them. I also am thinking about painting the andirondack chairs that Bob and I made. Colors???? [forest green, lavender, burgandy, or blue] Can't decide. Porch needs a little color.
Well, time to post this rambling; Mary is waiting to see the pictures.
