New Pal
This is my new pal. [Not the grandson, although he and I spend quality time together]. CC is short for Crazy Cat, or Curious Cat. Today I was thinking she should be JD for Juvenile Delinquent. She would not let me sleep. She kept tearing around on the bed.. and biting my nose. What a brat! Her mother's name is 'Noodles'. Named thus by my granddaughter when a couple of years ago when she was 4. Noodles is all black; but a Siamese was seen skulking around their house.
It was time to say good-bye to my pal Sassy. She was full of cancer and could barely walk due to the loss of the muscles in her back legs. This is the last picture taken of her. She looks so sad. I think she was in a lot of pain. It was a sad time for the family. My grandson who is a Senior in high school used to practice his wrestling moves on her when he was a little tyke. They would go round and round. Sassy knew if someone wasn't feeling well; she would sit by you and not leave your side. A friend of my son's came over while she was very pregnant and Sassy went to her and did not leave her side while she was visiting their home. The baby was born that night. Such a smart dog and so aware of people's feelings. Sassy loved to play with other dogs and played according to their size. She liked cats and slept side by side with them. She was a good friend to the family. We all miss her something fierce.
