nannyberry & carvings

W

While in Maryland, Joe, Coalette, and I went to the Ward Museum of Wood Carving. What an amazing place! The carvings were so life like.
Coalette graduated from high school. [reason for trip]. She will go on to college. Excellent!
Mary has been waiting for the picture of our Nannieberry Tree. So I thought I would sneak it in here. The grass in the back yard is doing well, but the front yard needs to be reseeded. And all of a sudden there are dozens of cocklebur weeds. It seems like there are hundreds when you go to pull them. I had to buy leather gloves for myself and my grandson.. Who comes over on Fridays and mows the lawn. Then he pulls a few of the nasty things. It is neverending.
The yellow rose bush in the front bloomed. It was like a wild rose. I was surprised that it bloomed already!
Well, have to clean. Mary is coming for a visit and I would hate for her house to be messy!
